About this facility
Launch to Wellness Psychotherapy, Inc. is a women-owned, women-operated behavioral health treatment program located in Woodland Hills, California. We provide Partial Hospitalization (PHP), Intensive Outpatient (IOP), Virtual IOP, and Outpatient levels of care for adults navigating mental health conditions, substance use disorders, and the co-occurring presentations that more often define real life than the textbook ones. Our clients come to us carrying complicated stories, trauma histories, families shaped by addiction or mental illness, multiple prior treatment episodes that did not address what was actually driving their pain, and the cumulative weight of suffering that gets dismissed by programs built for a simpler picture. We were founded to treat the whole person rather than the diagnosis, and we have built our program around the conviction that meaningful recovery requires care that honors the depth, complexity, and humanity of the people we serve.
Our clinical work is grounded in trauma-informed, evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and mindfulness-based approaches, integrated with attachment-informed and family systems work that addresses the developmental and relational dimensions of mental health and addiction. We provide integrated psychiatric care, individual and group therapy, family involvement when appropriate, case management, and continuity of care that does not stop at discharge. Our clinical team includes licensed clinicians and a medical director who together bring decades of combined experience treating complex trauma, mood and anxiety disorders, dual diagnoses, identity-related stressors, and the layered presentations that often accompany serious mental illness and addiction. We have particular expertise serving clients who have been to multiple programs before, clients carrying significant trauma histories, and clients whose cultural background does not fit the Western individualistic frame that much of the field defaults to.
What distinguishes Launch to Wellness is the commitment to dignified, individualized, culturally responsive care that treats clients as whole people rather than diagnoses or revenue. We believe that meaningful recovery is built on real therapeutic alliance, honest clinical assessment, appropriate level of care at every step, and the relational and structural scaffolding that supports clients well beyond their time in our program. We work with families with respect for who they are, where they come from, and what their love actually looks like. We honor the long arc of recovery and the patience it requires, and we are committed to providing care that our clients can trust to be both clinically rigorous and deeply human. Our goal is not to keep clients longer than they need us. Our goal is to do right by them at every step, build the foundation that supports sustained wellness, and remain available to them and their families across the lifelong journey of recovery.
